"We booked two rooms on one reservation. Not only were the rooms not beside each other, not on the same floor, they weren’t even in the same building. Also check in was so slow for some reason. Not sure why they don’t have things printed and keys ready before you get there. Otherwise it’s a decent place to stay. Some rooms are clearly nicer and newer than others. Great location. Breakfast was average but great view from the window of the river."

"We chose Danesfield House for the night before our wedding, hoping for a relaxing and memorable stay. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed. When we arrived, there was a birthday card in our room addressed to another guest, with their full name displayed. This seemed like an avoidable privacy oversight and wasn't the welcome we expected, especially as the hotel knew it was the night before our wedding. The room also didn't match the impression given by the photos online, and the "large" bed...
