"Just a great experience. Great lobby porch and areas to relax. The town is right around the corner with many more areas to visit. Train is 600 feet from hotel and plenty of buses and taxis to get you wherever you want to go. Nice place to stay out of the London hustle and bustle but still close enough to get there and back quickly. "

"Hotel was easy to find and with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Room was lovely and spacious as too the bathroom. Aircon was a pkus with it being quite hot when visited in the summer. Lovely dining area with plenty of seating, we ate outside and food was delicious in the evening and at breakfast. I would order breakfast when booking as it is £15 and not £10 as advertised. Will stay again whrn in the area."

"The hotel felt old in a good way, but the rooms - and especially the bathrooms - were up to date and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the sunny dining room and we left agreeing that the Alexander Pope was a hotel we would happily return to. It's also very convenient to central Twickenham and the 490 bus took us everywhere we needed to go."

"Lovely one night stay. Check in was easy and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely with a comfortable super king size bed. Only slight issue was the room felt cold and the air conditioning unit didn’t seem to want to generate heat. Lovely wool throw blankets on the beds kept us warm though. "Lovely hotel and pub. Room was impressive, nice and large, and spotlessly clean Super king bed was unexpected. Rarely seen in many hotels so this was a definite delight. Only downside to the pub as a guest was we were unable to get a nightcap on our return at 11pm. Breakfast very nicely set out. Ingredients fresh and flavoursome. If returning to the are, will definitely stay again. "
