"Old and very tired, in need of refurbishment. Three main things define a quality room - Plumbing, Pillows and Aircon, FAIL on all 3. You can hear other people's plumbing running. The pillows are thin cheap ones probably bought from Coles and the aircon was ineffective. Had to set it to 17C and flat out to even get the room down to a temperature where I wasn't sweating. Hardly slept and won't ever stay here again!"

"Hands down one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Stayed in the deluxe king ocean and the view was incredible! The rooms were clean, the staff were nice and the amenities were so well maintained.
Highly highly highly recommend if you are coming to the Gold Coast since it is right by the beach and walkable to a lot of places! Will come back for sure!"

"Great place for a date night or some R&R. Very relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Roaring fireplace to keep you warm during the colder months at the main restaurant. Staff are very accomadating and go above and beyond. Warm and welcoming and can make a mean Cocktail! Reccommend staying the night if wanting to make the most of the service, menue and Bar! "Loved the location. Great walk to harbour town and dublin docks. And not too long of a drive to theme parks or surfers paradise.
Perfect size for large family.
Down side was not enough stuff to keep maintain cleanliness for example the dishwasher wasn't working, vacuum wouldn't suck so had to sweep, wifi was pretty average and the TV kept loading when put a movie on for kids to wind down.
Draws were broken in one room. And floors under table and couch were very grubby. Lots of dust amd...
