"On our floor there was an ice machine and water fill station and every night before bed I would fill the complimentary water bottles and the yeti cups that we brought with us with ice and water. I turned the refrigerator to the coldest setting and in the morning they would be almost frozen. We also brought a thermal backpack where we would keep them while we enjoyed the water park and we would have cold water all day."

"Had a great time at Atlantis Paradise island with a large group of family and friends. 27 of us had a great time! Staff was caring and helpful. Facility is great and you have to do the Lazy River at the water park. Beaches are pristine and the water so soft. Food was amazing at every restaurant."

"First and foremost, there is no water in san juan. Expedia is not doing their due diligence and putting a travel advisory before booking. Thank God la concha had water. Hotel is beautiful. Some of the workers at the restaurants acted like we didnt exist and it was on more than one occasion. Serafina food is amazing. Estefany at Aqa is amazing!!! I wont be back to puerto rico but the la concha will be missed"

"We arrived at the hotel early and staff checked us in which was amazing since we could change and start our day early. Location is perfect close to restaurants and Castillo de Cristobal. We paid extra for hotel breakfast and really enjoyed their omelette and variety of options. Definitely recommend if you don’t want to drive around San Juan which can be very busy and hard to find parking."
Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"The Rui was a good choice for us. We chose the ocean front room and it was beautiful. Bedding and pillows good. Dark out curtains helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Bathroom shower had a rain head which was great after day at beach. There was some issues with us being able to control the air conditioning so the room was cold, but we never called for assistance so that's on us. Room did have a slight musty odor, but door open took it away. Beach was great. Easily accessible and the beach guys were the best. Umbrella and chairs set up for you. Under appreciated in my opinion . Pool was good too. Clean. The pool entertainment was ok. Buffet was very good for all meals. Decent variety . Making reservations for the other on site restaurants was hard. Did do steak house which we didnt care for. Steak was fatty and didnt taste good. No one seemed to care when we told our waitress. Entertainment at night was fair. The dancers were great but just felt like something was missing. No ATM or store on site. Bring cash for tips. Alot of the cabs only took cash. Some of the staff didnt smile at all. Seemed to be bothered by us. Others were kind. Bring sunscreen. Cost is high in the little stores. Also bring your own tumbler. You can fill it up with water or alcoholic beverages and it stays cooler. I would recommend to others."
