"A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"It was a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but sometimes it was difficult to get hot water. The restaurant was stylish, and the dinner and breakfast were also good. Bibury is very crowded with tourists, but I think it is a privilege for guests to be able to enjoy Bibury early in the morning when no one else is around."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Thames Head. Convenient location with just a short drive to Cirencester. Also close to Tetbury and Minchinhampton. Our room was very clean and spacious. The staff were wonderful and food excellent. "

"Charming hotel, ideally situated by the Abbey. Choice of lounges to sit in the evening, loved the decor. It was drizzling so we couldn’t use the outdoor space. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and full English breakfast next morning. All staff so friendly and welcoming. Loved the stories of the local area involving pigs, emus and tigers!"

"This motel and the Diner is really lovely,I work away quite often.The tv didn’t work in the room to start with…the staff sorted it out no problem at all.Its screw and air conditioned. The diner gets so busy so book. I would recommend this place,both of them 100%!"

"Enjoyed our one night stay very much. Check out was 11:00 am not 10:00 plus a free continental breakfast was included which was quite substantial including tea, coffee, juices, fresh fruit, overnight oats, toast, jams, cheese and ham. All the staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Excellent location to enjoy the Cotswolds away from the tourist crowds. On the downside, the washroom is not perfect, but these are properly designed only in some large chain or high end luxury hotels. Highly recommended overall. "
