"Stay was relaxing and quiet . Check in was not very welcoming, no cool drink was offered and we weren’t told were anything was. Can’t order drinks or food by the pool. So we had to go out for a couple of hours until our room was ready. Breakfast was average. The hotel restaurant Kebaya was very good. "

"Areca Hotel was delightful, full of character, so much nicer than the high rise hotels we have been staying in so far on this trip. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, not only with a welcome drink, but an invitation to afternoon tea each afternoon of our stay. "This is an amazing old building but we qeee not aware before our stay that there would be yours twice a day from outside people and yay does affect your privacy quite a bit. It’s a very old building but clearly they are doing their best to keep it maintained. A great place for a 2 night stay in Georgetown"
