Kid Friendly Hotels in Copacabana

"The hotel is in an excellent position, right on Copacabana beach. It has a very old fashioned feel about it and could definitely do with a spruce up. The room felt dark but everything worked and it was perfectly acceptable. The breakfast choice was good and so was the service. The provision of beach towels was a bonus. The pool is very small. The roof bar is lovely although on occasion it was frequented by large groups of families or loud Americans which really spoilt it. If groups were...

"From the warm welcome by Fabrizio Reis to the complimentary late departure, the staff couldnt have been nicer. The breakfast was super, the lounge area with its view and beach towels to use, we certainly got our monies worth. We were surprised the rooms were very small, but we were comfortable. If we get back to Rio, we will stay there again. "

"Being a three minute walk to the beach in one direction, and a two minute walk to stores, groceries, pharmacies, etc in the other direction was ideal. When on the beach, one has no idea of being close to anything else. Staff was particularly helpful, friendly and very kind. Staff and location were the big things. Of course it was clean. It is not a luxury hotel in the sense I think of luxury hotel...but it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel at normal-people rates."

"This is a top hotel! I don't quite understand the negative reviews left. It's at least a four-star hotel and is excellent with staff, reception, and restaurant services. There are always several receptionists on duty, along with several porters. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and serves many local dishes, along with the more traditional. The hotel has granite floors throughout and a wonderful panoramic view of Copacabana. I did upgrade my room once I got there and was so glad I did. ...
