"We stayed during the carnival, to be honest i booked it because it was one of the cheapest during this period, so wasnt expecting much. However the minute we got out of the taxi, the doorman and reception staff were excellent and very helpful, courteous, especially Johnathan on reception. The room was ok but clean, the shower was just amazing in terms of the water pressure. We had dinner innthe restaurant for just one night and wished we had eaten there more often as it was really good,...

"From the warm welcome by Fabrizio Reis to the complimentary late departure, the staff couldnt have been nicer. The breakfast was super, the lounge area with its view and beach towels to use, we certainly got our monies worth. We were surprised the rooms were very small, but we were comfortable. "Being a three minute walk to the beach in one direction, and a two minute walk to stores, groceries, pharmacies, etc in the other direction was ideal. When on the beach, one has no idea of being close to anything else. Staff was particularly helpful, friendly and very kind. Staff and location were the big things. Of course it was clean. It is not a luxury hotel in the sense I think of luxury hotel...but it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel at normal-people rates."
