"The hotel was beautiful and wonderfully convenient. We had some grumbles about the room we were initially allocated but the staff were patient and receptive to our concerns and quickly provided us a new room with zero challenge. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else for our next visit to Richmond."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. We arrived late as we were staying after watching the tennis but we got an upgrade when we arrived. The room was clean and so beautiful. The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. We were woken by another guest who clearly didn’t understand that other people were asleep at 2am but that’s not the fault of the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again! "

"Absolutely incredible stay! My husband and I wanted a quiet peaceful experience and we received just that. Staff was great, room service was always fast and delicious, room was large and we felt very safe inside the park. We like to go for walks frequently, and this is a perfect safe place to enjoy. "You would not believe the pub was in such a lovely area and with the high street and all its other offerings so close - so close to London , Heathrow and transport - a gem !"

"The hotel felt old in a good way, but the rooms - and especially the bathrooms - were up to date and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the sunny dining room and we left agreeing that the Alexander Pope was a hotel we would happily return to. It's also very convenient to central Twickenham and the 490 bus took us everywhere we needed to go."

"Really lovely hotel. Has a nice feel to it clean and smart and comfortable. Room was quiet even though the hotel is right next to the m4. Only complaint is a bit more explanation at checkin would have been helpful ie breakfast and check out times and how to use the lift with the key cards. We would defo stay again. "
