"The Selwyn was a short walk to both the train line and Richmond Landing. It also offered an excellent breakfast with many choices."

"Very nice guest house. Super comfy beds and pillows. Ideal spot for plane spotters although not so ideal if you are a light sleeper. Only down side was that our rooms were small and not ideal as one side of bed against wall which isnt ideal for 2 ."

"Room lovely but not well sound proofed and the corridor noise seemed v loud. Great location, lovely decor. We stayed for a very short time and didnt use bar or eat. However we asked if breakfast was still available at 9.55 and the staff said "I dont think so". They could have asked chef, before dismissing our query, so that left us feeling less pleased with our stay. We had a gorgeous brekky at the Anglers by the lock, so if you miss the 10am deadline try there 🙂"

"Not up to usual Harbour Hotel standards. Good size room, Food in bar was long delayed, gin provided free of charge but tonic was charged for unlike other Harbour Hotels. Breakfast very good. Bugs crawling around the bathroom. . Reception mixed. Young man was very good but the staff later in the day were not very helpful. ."

"We stayed at several hotels in England and this was one of our favorites. It didn’t have an elevator but the young man (I wish I knew his name) was SO helpful, carrying our bags upstairs for us, answering questions. We were able to keep our luggage there the day we checked out while we went downtown (and the young man carried them up to and from the third floor for us!). The food at the restaurant was good and the staff very friendly. It was close to the train station which was convenient."
