"The room I had was clean and adequately furnished but the AC unit below the window was so loud at even the lowest fan setting that I had trouble falling and staying asleep. The selections in the breakfast room were minimal and the scrambled eggs I had on the first day were rubbery and tasteless. The coffee was also bland and tasteless. A tray of mini-bagels sat out uncovered and they were hard and stale. It should be stated more clearly on the Expedia site that on-site parking at $12 per...

"Clean and calm!"

"The noises were one of the few complaints. The noise that the wall-ac unit had, was sporadic and quiet loud and disruptive. Central air is a major investment, but the wall unit is a real downer at night in sleeping hours. Does the pool open too early? We had a family of screaming kids outside our window at 7-8 am. Really? "Absolutely everything about this hotel is quaint, clean and excellent service! Shelly, front desk was so genuine and helpful. The coffee shop has the right amenities to eat/breakfast/lunch/snacks… Even cocktails and the best coffees in town they serve too. Parking is a breeze… They even leave you two deliciouschocolate chip cookies on your door… Fabulous place to stay, We would return. Much appreciated, Connie & Tim McGuire"

"This is a great value stay on Island. I particularly enjoy the fridge/freezer so I can refreeze the ice packs for my cooler. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and spacious. I've stayed several times with no complaints."

"The bed was on the soft side which I prefer. The outdoor pool was nice. Breakfast was good. The location is a little confusing, sort of at the back of a mall area, but the entrance never felt clear to us. The area around Hilton Head always had a ton of traffic while we were there."

"We loved Beaufort Inn. When we arrived staff at the front desk welcomed us and took us on a tour of the facility. She was so very welcoming and helpful. We loved being able to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants from our room. We simply loved it! If we go to Beaufort, SC again, we will not stay anywhere else but at the Beaufort Inn. It was wonderful!"
