It's a lovely resort. Big and spread out so lots of walking but lovely. great ocean access and several pools. The bar was not much, and we did not eat at the restaurants, but it's a very nice place to stay on HHI.

Our room at the Westin was well appointed and pretty much immaculate. Very comfy beds and linens. The resort itself is definitely showing its age — but we were told by staff that the public areas and exterior are undergoing a massive upgrade in the coming months. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful. Soft, wide beach that was easy to walk on. Definitely consider springing for an oceanFRONT room — the view and sunrise is wonderful. We stayed on the third floor, and I would definitely ask for third floor or higher if you want that expansive ocean view.

This hotel is closing down in 2 weeks for a 5 month renovation, so they were very low in food and beverage selections! So price is commensurate with the quality and service. If you are looking for an inexpensive, nearby weekend experience then this is good opportunity. If you are flying in from far away and expecting a luxurious weekend then this is NOT the choice for you!

Loved the property and beach access. Also loved that we had a mini refrigerator in our room and we had a great ocean view. The only thing that was irritating was that it seemed like everything had additional charges. Beach chairs, umbrellas, parking, pool loungers. The only free amenity was the gym.

I stayed here based on the glowing reviews from past visitors. The hotel was clean, up to date and had plenty of activities and amenities. I stayed in a very clean and spacious room. I had a descent view of the water and could even catch the evening poolside movies from my balcony. Every staff member i encountered greeted me with a smile. We had a power outage,completely out of the hotel's control, but the staff was apologeyic and considerate. They were close to all the things I wanted to do but staying at one of the hotel pools was also a perfect option. I am so glad I stayed here.

Upon entering the hotel the lobby was nicely fragrant. Desk staff were friendly Most notable was the great shower pressure- delightful. Room cleaning was good however they never got to our room until late afternoon- just after we had been out of our room by 8:30am each day- annoying to us. Hotel cafe menu was good/pricey . Our bottle of Red wine came out of the refrigerator- a no no. Pool was very nice - there were several, server was attentive to bring drinks. Overall it is obvious that hotel has been newly purchased so they are working out logistics.

Great experience. Beautiful beach, 3 pools, friendly non-pushy staff, plenty of pool seating, clean rooms, great fitness center, free water daily, decent food, quality covered self parking. The only negative we noticed is that the hallways in our area were loud because there was laminate floors due to beach/pool access. Walls are a little thin. But, no issue with sleeping at all.
