"I came here with my family. We slept in a private dorm of 6 beds destined to us as a private family booking. The dorm was big with spacious lockers and clothes horses. We had breakfast in the kitchen, there is free tea and coffee and we toasted bread and fried some eggs. "On arrival thought the place was very good, easy checkin, friendly staff, decent sized room etc. Easy walk in the evening to Chullia St Hawker Stalls for a really good meal. "This homestay reminds me my childhood memory, where i used to stay at my grandma's house when i was young. It is similar to my grandma's house in Melaka. All the staffs here are kind. "The staff is very welcoming and kind. The lobby downstairs is very comfortable to sit in for long periods. I wish they kept the snacks stocked but I guess that was minor. "Comfortable bed. Decent hot shower. Lockers in the dorm that appeared to be secure. Unusually for a hostel, they provided shampoo and handwash in the showers and bathroom. It's rather spartan but is relaxing and enjoyable. Has most things you need. The one thing lacking was a kettle."

"Good air con, clean and comfy room, clean WC. However there was flies around the bins in the hallways when people put food in there. Then the flies came into my room and was in my capsule :( there was a lot of dust on the walls too. "

Decent location, mediocre service
"Airconditioning turns on and off every 10 minutes. Room phone not working so you have to go to the lobby to complain. Complained with the receptionist, says the maintenance crew will attend to my room, does not come at all. Took a 3 bed room, came with only 2 sets of pillows. Complained about this, same case, housekeeping did not come either. Thankfully only stayed one night. Staff not equipped to handle high occupancy rate. Only saving grace for the hotel is it's location and convenience. Everything else is below average. "
