It is at the top of a steep hill but so much of Cihangir is. Sometimes it was easier to metro to the Taskim Square and walk down. He took the time to talk to us and it felt like we had a friend in Istanbul. The location worked out well too, it is surrounded by tons of hip cafes on a street shaded by grape arborsand an easy walk or tram to both the main tourist areas and the more local hangouts.
