"Never thought we would travel to Türkiye, but our cruise was departing from Istanbul. We decided to arrive a few days early and check out the city. The hotel is right on the water and about 15 mins from the ports for the cruise ships. The property is nice and clean. But beware that there is no road to the property, so you have to walk with your bags on cobblestone streets to get to the hotel. The staff is amazing!! "What a nice surprise of a hotel/apartment. I was a little nervous initially about the graffiti on the building, but ended up loving the place and street with all the super cool bars and restaurants that leads right Istiklal street. Tammam the Hotel Hospitality was awesome."

"What a great hotel. Spent so many hours trying to pick one, and so glad that we landed on Burdoch Hotel. The spa is beautiful, the breakfast buffet selection is fabulous and our room was comfortable and quiet despite being in a fantastic area close to everything. Staff were incredibly helpful and it was spotlessly clean. The quality of the spa really made it, one of the nicest spas I have experienced. Useful also to have the gym as Istanbul is not a city for joggers! Highly recommend this hotel....

"The hotel is located right next to Galata tower and the area has a lot of foot traffic outside. Its an easy walk to public transit and other areas to see. Just know that Istanbul is very hilly so the distance may be short but it will be and up and down the whole way through. The hotel is very charming, and the room was spacious for my needs. The staff is very attentive and helpful when you need them. "
