"The house was renovated to a high standard, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfasts excellent, the property was quite close to bars,restaurants and shops. The only problem with this property was the hosts where far from welcoming and at times could be quite rude. For what was supposed to be a relaxed break to me there were to many rules, timetables and charges. We are a well traveled couple but this was one of the worst experiences we have had."

"Great location, lobby was very nice and had lots of sesting. The bar has great deals for students and we saved a lot of money eating and drinking here, plus it was yummy. Room was big and clean and the TV worked well. Gym was small but it was perfect for me to do a quick workout. Breakfast was good as well and had tons of options!"

"Clean room (if a little dated) but the little courtyard was lovely to sit out and have a coffee. £15 per day to park or free on the street outside. Sensible level of breakfast - just enough."

"Comfortable bed, and room very clean, and serviced daily. There was a good selection at breakfast, and food was constantly replenished. Breakfast items are all good quality, and staff are very friendly, polite and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. There is plenty of free parking spaces. Highly recommend this hotel , and would choose to stay here again when in the area."

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Excellent family run hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked individually when ordered and not pre cooked left to dry out on the side. Only five minutes from the Minster so easy to come and go. Would thoroughly recommend."

"Everything g about the stay at Grays Court was exceptional. Fantastic service great food and bueatuf rooms and grounds. Really close to the city centre - great job team I will definitely come again and recomend to all our friends"
