Room very small, Garden courtyard room would be best suited to just an overnight stay, there was no draws to put anything in wardrobe was also small. Ended up leaving clothes in suitcase. Lovely ambience, wonderful old building, quirky and visually stunning. We really enjoyed the cosy bar, the restaurant was also very good. Easy 15 min walk to the Micklegate Bar and entry into the old town of York.

Room was pleasantly decorated and we had air conditioning. Parking was very limited and expensive. Also there was a charge for the water in the room which I think is very poor standards especially when the weather is so warm

Lovely historic property just outside of the main area of town in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Rooms appear to have been newly renovated, beds were comfortable and the rooms had everything needed. Breakfast options were great. You do need to be prepared to carry luggage up a flight of stairs and make sure to arrange parking in advance.
