"Great location and super chic design. Fun lobby with stuff to do for our teens. Gym was great. Excellent hub for our couple days in York. Quiet. Room was a great size and modern. Breakfast was very good and lots of options as well. Only meh was toilet flusher didn’t work super well"

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

And the architecture was just stunning from the moment you walked into the property. Well worth the stay and be honest we should’ve stayed in New York longer than one night."

"Such an amazing stay. Check in was easy and super friendly. Great communication and WiFi was great. Loved our room and the fresh milk For my coffee in my room was a bonus. Didn’t have breakfast but looked amazing and did not need to use car park but there looked like plenty of spaces which is rare in York. Loved this place and will definitely come back"

"This hotel is beautiful. We originally booked a standard room which was tiny and had the most uncomfortable bed. The toilet was so close to the door the toilet roll holder was jammed to your leg and we are fairly average sized people. We decided to upgrade for the 2nd night and got a King deluxe which was amazing with a favourite roll top bath and separate shower. Much more spacious and the bed was firm but much better than the previous bed. Unfortunately the A/C wasn't working and made a...
