"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"Room was bare bones. One sheet on each bed, no blankets at all and it was cool at night. Two.towels provided were not in good shape. No toiletries provided. One roll of toilet paper. Could not close windows as branches of tree growing inside through window. Very very steep stairs and we were booked on third floor and one of us was in their seventies. Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. Didn't even stay overnight and checked ourselves out and took quite a loss as no refund, we were...

"We adored Puerto Morellos. Fabulous beach and lots of great beach restaurants. Quiet town with lots of restaurants and live music. The property was cute and the staff very responsive and nice. Our only complaint was the sewer system which was emitting odour in our suite by the end of our stay. "

"if the they had working hot water and wifi, i would give them a 5 star. would have appreciate them cleaning everyday instead of every other. staff were very pleasant, but hit water and wifi was never resolved, and no one came back to us to update us on oroblem"
