"The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"THE BAD: Seaweed on the beach and water was awful and smelled so foul! Beach/Ocean time was supposed to be a major part of our trip and the poor condition of the beach/ocean was NOT advertised. Resort convenience store was EXTREMELY expensive for normal items like medicine, etc. THE GOOD: Food was mostly great with options. Drinks were decent..if you like diet coke with your alcohol it tasted very odd. Lots of pools with space but were too cold in my opinion. Rooms nice and clean. Beds were average/good. "

"The property was beautiful, we went during a season where the seaweed was all over the beach but they tired to clean it off in the mornings the best they could. I can’t say I had any food there that was amazing. We had a group of 9 and most of the restaurants (aside from the buffet) had a hard time seating us or flat out told us our group would be separated. The food service was very slow most of the time making the dinners extremely long. There were wedding every night we were there so not sure if they took all the wait staff. The activities / evening shows were not impressive. The resort also went without water for most of the day and there were no announcements or guidance, everyone just started noticing when they tried to go to the bathroom or asked why they were giving out paper cups. The kids explorer area is not something you can go in with your kid and play for a while, it is drop off only and although the teachers seemed very nice and kind I was not going to leave my daughter there which was really disappointing because seeing the pictures of it was one of the reasons why I picked the resort. There was nothing else for her age group aside from the pools and of course the sand so we made it work. "

"So I’ve contemplated on writing this review because of all the good reviews it had previously and that is why I booked at this resort. Overall, the property aesthetic wise was very nice, but the service the staff was highly understaffed and overworked towels was nearly impossible to get during pool time and replenishing of the room. We were not able to swim at the beach in front of the resort at all due to the amount of seaweed, they could not remove and provided a barrier from the sand to the ocean. The staff that we did encounter were very nice and helpful but again overworked the restaurants were OK and their main restaurant that everyone wanted to eat at you were unable to get reservations "
