"Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."

As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building."
