"The location of Bauer Palazzo is perfect! So close to Saint Mark's piazza and Doge's Palace and right on the Grand Canal, which is what you want in Venice. Seeing people hauling their suitcases amongst hundreds of tourists up stairs and over bridges - no thanks! Our water taxi from the train station pulled right up to the door of the hotel where the friendly staff was waiting to help us with our luggage and check us in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. ...
