"Good location even though it’s not on the beach. Room setup was perfect for 4 family members, two bedroom two full bathrooms helped when we were getting back from the beach and getting ready to go out for dinner. The beach setup was somewhat small in front of Moomba beach restaurant. The hotel might be better for people looking to explore the island than setup on one beach and not leave for the trip. Close to many restaurants and shops to explore. "

"We loved being on the ground floor and walking out to the pool for a morning swim. Large room with kitchenette. Really fun location. I was impressed to receive a message even before I got home that I had left my phone charger behind! Not for beach swimmers or those with problems climbing stairs to a 2nd or 3rd floor room though! "

"We spent our 30th wedding anniversary the first week of December 2025. The hotel is perfect for several reasons. The staff is very cheerful and always happy to help, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The pelican bar happy hour is fantastic and the lobster fest was superb. The free chairs and umbrellas on the beach are a fantastic bonus. We are going back next year same time and we can’t wait to stay at Royal West. "
