"Fantastic room very clean and really efficient service"

"Outdated, and not reliable. I booked a room to share and specifically booked here because they had availability for two single beds in a room. The “single beds” were laid out as a queen bed with absolutely no space whatsoever to move the beds. Ended up having to sleep on the floor between the wardrobe and other pointless furniture taking the little space that was available. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and had been jammed with something, and there wasn’t even a hand towel in the bathroom. "

"We stayed in a standard double room, which was spacious, very clean, with a super comfortable bed! I slept like a log! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a swim in the pool, which although small, was excellent for swimming lengths and was a nice temperature. We ate at the restaurant, which served pub grub and was very tasteful. So why not 5 stars? The toilet in the room was separate to the shower and bath, and also the sink. It would have been nice to have a little sink in the toilet, as in the night you had to feel around for 2 rooms! There was no room service at all. There was a page on the app but in the restaurant the server told us you'd have to order downstairs and take the food up yourself. Most concerning, the pool was unmanned. No one was in that area at all. We had to sign a waver form before using it, so don't use the pool on your own. There was a panic pull outside the sauna but if you had an accident or you needed help away from the pull cord, I'm not sure how long it would be before someone found you.Lastly, there is a small amount of parking on site but you need to phone in advance to book this at £21. Overall a lovely hotel and we would stay here again."

"Beware of hotels that book large conference groups. There were two large groups, one that partied outside our window until midnight. We could not access our original rooms as the lift was broken and my 89 year old mother could not go up the stairs. The receptionist was more interested in checking out the split ends in her hair than she was in trying to accommodate us with new rooms. When they finally did give us rooms, we had to haul five suitcases, a car seat, a two year old and my Mom in her walker by ourselves. Disgraceful. "

"Couldn’t check in early because I didn’t receive the text message , I only had the itinerary / booking number and it wasn’t being aacceoted for self check in - it was unfortunate, my daughter wasn’t feeling well but gladly waited with me for an hour until we can be checked in. It’s better to book directly with the official website as it speeds up the check in process - witnessed a good number of people able to access their rooms early because of this. We got directions to our lodge, which was great. The shower was clean but when we closed the bathroom door, there were hairs and the floor was wet behind it . In the end, the bed was comfy and we just needed a clean enough space to rest and stay for the night,"

"Great staff and ideal dor the price. Only problem we had was someone came next to our door and slammed 2 doors at 2am and couldn't sleep for a while after. Other than that would recommend."
