Varese

"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

"Our stay at Ibis Como was excellent. The hotel is very well located, just a 10-minute drive from Lake Como and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping centers. Free parking is available, which was a great advantage for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all our expectations. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which was very convenient for our schedule, although the variety of options could be improved. The hotel is also only a 30-minute drive from Fiera Milano, making it an ideal...

Varese

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the...

Moltrasio

"The Hotel Posta Maltrasio was a great stay. Do not get this hotel confused with Hotel Posta Design. Design is in downtown Como. Maltrasio is up the hill with great views. The staff at this hotel was wonderful, led by the front desk wonder, Theresa. She was more than great. Whatever you do, get to know her, and she will be the guide you need. The room was good, typical size for Europe, but well kept. Some would say the rooms are old -- it's an Old hotel, not a brand new W on 59th st. in NYC....

"The hotel has great location, Amazing panoramic view of the lake, it wa probably an older beautiful building however the new materials used were not the same level. We didn’t like the interior or furnishing, The breakfast was served outside under a tent like cover though they have a great dining room! , The staff was helpful however and friendly. We like the location and it has potential to be an excellent hotel if to pay attention to details."
