"Good hotel for couple of days in this lovely village. Dinner was good but some items missed from our breakfast and were inedible when delivered, this was only complaint. Nice comfortable room and great hot shower. "

"We stayed for two nights. The hotel is situated in middle of Alnwick, close to every amenity. We parked outside the door. You need a parking disc to park in most areas of the town, but the hotel gave us a disc. Check in was easy, and the barman carried our bags up the 36 stair steps to our room! It's an old building- no lift. The room we were given (4) was perfectly clean and functional, but cold. We asked for a different one but we were told there wasn't another available. Early next...

"The building is charming, a warren of antique rooms and staircases. We stayed in the Silver Bath room, where our 5-year-old was quickly entertained by the bathtub. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, warm, and delightfully quirky. "

"Oldy-worldy charm in a converted attic, complete with a copper tub (separate from the bathroom). The only (minor) downside is the narrow, steep staircase to two of the rooms which might be troublesome for some people. Excellent 5-star breakfast."

"Luxurious hotel with beautiful rooms. Bed was super comfortable and huge. Gorgeous immaculately clean bathroom with rainfall shower and free standing bath. Leigh was so welcoming, helpful and professional. The Bistro staff were also great. Lovely breakfast selection. Great location. Lots to do and see nearby."
