"Was a very nice place. Room was clean and comfortable. Had plenty of places both inside and outside to sit and relax, though I didn't make use of any outside places due to allergies. Breakfast wasn't overly large, which I appreciated as someone that doesn't always eat breakfast to begin with. They were even kind enough to give me breakfast slightly earlier than their usual time frame so I could make my early boat and still enjoy the food. "

"The Amethyst Inn is a heritage home renovated into lovely rooms with baths, decorated to the period of the home. visitors should be able to take the stairs! We were at the top of the house with a view of the neighbouring home and garden, complete with entertaining squirrels in the trees. A walk around the area is a feast for the eyes, of beautiful homes and gardens of the same period.
