"I came to Poets Cove for 3 nights on a solo trip. First time visiting Pender Island and I came without a car. Poets Cove offers a shuttle bus that comes to pick travellers up from Otter Bay and brings them to the hotel. However, the bus didn't show up and I was stuck at the terminal for about 30-45 minutes. "The over all property was fine, our room was not. The bathroom had no outlets that worked. The ceiling near the sinks were low and i kepts bumping my head. The mirror above the sink is so low you can't see your face. The shower enclosure is extremely small for the size of the bathroom. There wasn't anywhere to set your needed items to take a shower. "This was potentially the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I've never stayed in a room with such poor sound proofing before and sleeping was miserable. You could hear EVERY time someone opened their door. It didn't help that the bar had karaoke playing super loudly too on Friday and Saturday night. You could hear everything.
