Not a bad experience but not worth the cost compared to other 5 stars. I would not stay there again."

"We had a beach view balcony and the room was very clean. We stayed a week and the great staff cleaned daily. Every one was very friendly and helpful. The parking is valet and your car is always ready when you need it. "

"The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. I talked to the front counter manager, and he finally go me a room on the last night. This room is a little better,...

"Excellent property and excellent location. Has direct access to beach. Big pools and lazy river. Breakfast was expensive and can be improved. Parking is also expensive with a long walk back. Food options are good "

"Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️"

"I rented a two-bedroom unit. The bedrooms and living room were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness. The view was great, and the unit itself was spacious and comfortable."

"We returned after honeymooning 20 years ago. We stayed in Wailea before. This time we enjoyed the close proximity of the whaler village and their restaurants along with the ability to cook with the fully stocked kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful Wonderful place and will try to stay here again. Hopefully not another 20 years before we are back to beautiful Maui 😊"

"They are very limited on any amenities at the pool, the snack bar was only open part of the time. Restaurant has limited menu. 25/day to rent a chair to sit on beach, not worth it as you will only last about 2 hours in the sun."

"The staff was very nice and helpful; however, we drug, all of our luggage into the lobby to check in only to find out that checkin was not in the same building as the hotel room. So we had to load everything back up again and drive to the other building. At the other building, it was very convenient.Having a store and access to the kids pool.However, there was no hotel people in that building to help with things. "Excellent beautiful place/location. Front desk needs help. Over hour to check in, no apologies and no one in front of us. Just sat behind their computers??? What was happening? No communication was. Got mail I was expecting, no call, email or msg to room. I pressed on check out and they found it. Front desk help needed"
