"We have been lucky enough to stay at this resort before. We were familiar with the area. Love this area. They had done a good job of cleanup after the storms. Some things were still under construction. We had a crane outside of our balcony one day which was loud but we were not at unit much of the time crew was making noise. Kitchen was Bar Bones. "No cleaning service which isn’t bad unless you want them bugging you. Order your own bathroom supplies and they bring it right to you. Stop and get some food cause it’s a full kitchen. They didn’t give good directions to the second underground parking. Fun place staff was great"

"Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation."
