"Amazing resort. Welcoming staff. Lots of activities. Clean rooms and property. Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen. Huge bathrooms with lots of counter space. The balcony was our favorite space - dining table and four chairs, two comfortable chairs with table and a lounge couch….but the view was the winner…ocean, island of Lanai, whale watching, mountains, plus gorgeous views of the pools and grounds. We loved the poolside bar and grill and had many meals poolside."

"We had a great stay with two other couples. The unit is well kept as are the grounds. Some good places to eat without having to drive. My only criticism is that none of the lights are very bright except those in the kitchen. We could not play cards at the dinning table because of this. We had to arrange chairs around the kitchen counter."

"We loved our stay for our family of 4! We had access to several different pools and restaurants. The pool was a tad cold for my liking but the kids didn’t seem to mind. You’re right at the beach which is amazing. There’s a free shuttle to whaler’s village which is a huge perk. We stayed in a one bedroom condo and having a full kitchen was amazing. We will definitely be back! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Honua Kai. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, including a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, just bring your own food. The location is fantastic, the pools were great, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff reached out before our arrival and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience feel extra welcoming. We would definitely love to come back."

"The cooking station downstairs allowed for easier food costs compared to eating out every meal and the free laundry mat helped out with the return to home. Pool was fun and they had plenty of events throughout the week like free snowcones and live music. The staff was always friendly especially when there was a problem. A great place to stay!"

"Cockroaches in the apartment and the patio. They offered to bomb the unit but we had to be out for an hour and then go back to air it out. I didn’t want to deal with the chemicals or the dead roaches. They should have bombed before our stay. The stove needs repairs. Only one burner worked. The pool is nice as well as location. "
