"We only stayed for one night. We had a really nice steak for dinner which was cooked to perfection. Had a bottle of wine each and took the remainder go the room where we settled down for the evening. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a full English breakfast and then sorted ourselves out for a 11am departure. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the rising sun, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location with a stunning view, great amenities in the room and the option of the pub and restaurant downstairs! Would highly recommend."

"We booked this location based on other reviews and were not disappointed. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Food was very good, our room was clean and spacious with lovely decor. As in other reviews be prepared for the walk up the hill from the city centre. It’s a long one but worth it when you get to the top! "
