"Parking can be a bit tricky. There are a few paid(meter) spots in front of the property and it’s much cheaper. Staff told us Sunday’s are free and when we checked out the meter maid was approaching our vehicle. Dodged the ticket but good place overall. Would stay again "

"It was incredibly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable! There were a couple of comfy robes to use, and the decor was great. And Beverly was the best!!! She gave us great suggestions of things to do and places to eat and even helped us make reservations with discounts. I had a great time visiting Chicago and staying at the Silversmith...Ill be back, for sure!!!"

"The hotel stay was great. The breakfast was decent no complaints on the breakfast. Parking is free and they had security there to monitor the area. I would definitely recommend getting a hotel reservation from Hyatt."

"Apartment 102 has large bathroom, a washer-dryer, and microwave oven. Very close to "Chicago" station - though no lift/elevator to street level ie carry bags up stairs. Major concern for apartments facing road is security light that shines through blinds all night - as bright as daylight in main room! Consider sleeping in bathroom, if you want any sleep from street noise and light."

"I loved my stay at this hotel. A large part of my trip was visiting restaurants in the west loop and this hotel was the perfect location for that! Just a short walk to Restaurant Row. The staff were so delightful and helpful! Shoutout Felicia and Debbie! The balcony was a lovely touch and free luggage storage after we checked out was very easy and helpful! Also, the restaurant on site was a surprise delight! Loved all the food and the staff and the coffee!!"
