As many times as I've been to Chicago, this is the first time I've ever stayed in Chinatown. I was traveling on business and thought I'd bring my family of 5 with me for a night's stay. Not only was Chinatown a great area to explore, but my children absolutely loved it (12, 12, & 17). We walked the town and bought some treats and souvenirs to make things memorable.
As far as the room, it was modern, clean, functional and spacious for our family of 5. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the sofa sleep was actually a dual twin bed. As you could image, the children were grateful that they didn't have the share a bed. We stayed on a Friday night and checked out by our 12noon deadline on Saturday which was perfect because we were able to leave our bags and walk Chinatown before leaving. We were fortunate enough to secure free parking just outside the cafeteria door, so we saved a few coins there. Lastly, when traveling with a family, having a hot breakfast included is always a plus. Staff was friendly and the area appeared to be clean. My family complimented me all weekend because of the hotel choice. We really enjoyed my stay.
