Schloss Weissenburg - misleading pictures

I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one .

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German !

Sehr netter Service. Super leckeres Essen. Zimmer für ein Schloss perfekt. Abends könnte vorm Eingang ein Licht an sein. Ohne Lampe schlecht. Kein Fernseher im Zimmer geht auch mal. Hatten ja zum Glück WLan. Alles in allem Empfehlenswert. Danke H.Geib

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet,sauber und ruhig. Es gab keinen TV oder WLAN, aber für eine Nacht wars ok. Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich.

Der Ort ist fabelhaft, Personal extrem nett und hilfsbereit. Nur Preis/Leistung Verhältnis fanden wir eher nicht entsprechend, denn außer Zimmer und Umgebung bat das Hotel nichts besonderes. Auch Frühstück mussten wir extra zahlen.

Einfach nur toll. Von Anfang an als GAST wahrgenommen wurden. Die ganze Familie dort ein tolles Team (inkl. dem Schlosshund). Hoffentlich bald wieder da.

Slotsophold - nej, men ok gennemrejsested.

Ift. at være ‘slot’, var der lidt for meget beer-stube over stedet, i hvert fald vores oplevelse. Men rart, fint personale, god mad i form af Weißenburger og kartoffelskiver, men det er klart at regnvejr og det knapt så rummelige forsthaus til 4 personer, har lagt en dæmper på oplevelsen.

Slottet var flot - hotellet ikke imponerende

Virkelig flot slot - udefra. Og virkelig flot udsigt over dalen og bjergene i horisonten indefra. Men værelset var ikke synderligt rent, det var ikke "noget særligt" ift. at hotellet er et slot, og servicen var under gennemsnittet. Personalet talte f.eks. ikke engelsk. Morgenmaden var meget standard. For dyr (vi gav 16€ pr. person) ift. udvalg og kvalitet.

An der burg wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und auch unser Hund war willkommen. Wir hatten ihn relativ spontan mit, aber das war keim Problem. Das Frühstück ist der Wahnsinn und unglaublich reichhaltig. Die Küche ist generell ausgezeichnet und kann nut von dem traumhaften Ausblick und der wunderbaren Ruhe und Gelassenheit des Ortes übertrumpft werden. Es war ein sehr gelungener Ausflug für uns und wir werden wieder kommen.

Sehr schöner, überaus angenehmer Aufenthalt

Lage und Unterkunft sehr ruhig, mit einem sehr schönen, mehr als angenehmen Flair. Gastfreundschaft regiert uneingeschränkt, was nicht zuletzt der äußert netten Ausstrahung der "Chefin" Antje (ich hoffe, den Namen richtig geschrieben zu haben) zu verdanken ist. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend. Küche i.O., Frühstuck exzellent. Einziger (kleiner) Minus-Punkt: Wifi zwar vorhanden, aber nur in einigen Bereichen. Gerne wieder. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel ist wirklich schön und hat eine perfekte Lage. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen ist herausragend und ich habe noch nie so gut gefrühstückt. Das Einzige was ich nicht so gut fand war der fehlende Fernseher. Ich denke wenn man mehrere Nächte bleibt vermisst man den etwas.
