Hotels in Townsite, Las Vegas

"We usually stay at the Horseshoe, Paris, or Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip, but they were full due to a convention in town. So, we decided to try the Strat because they offered a great deal. They advertised newly renovated rooms. The room we had was decent. However, we had several issues. The first morning, the toilet didn’t flush. We left our room at 6:30 AM and returned at 4:30 PM, and the room hadn’t been serviced. They have lights on either side of the bedside stands that are censored so you can see when you get up at night. The one closest to the window had a glitch that went off twice an hour all night. Upon check-in, we spent over an hour with their IT department trying to get our Internet to work. We had to go down and speak to a manager who not only promised to provide the Internet upgrade for free, but also to refund the first day of resort fees, which had not been done upon checkout. So, we had to stand in line again to have that rectified. We were traveling for business, and the Internet issue alone will not have us returning to the Strat."

"Great location, great casino. We found check in difficult. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned. We had no cleaner come the whole time we were there? Had to find a cleaner for mor t.p. Stuck with same towels for 4 nights? Upon checkout…found out there were charges to our credit card and are still trying to have a detailed invoice, to see what the charges are? Very comfortable bed!"

"The hotel is nice, however was a bit disappointed the staff did not advise us to sign up for the rewards card. So we missed out on points on all money spent on dining and the casino. For the price the room, it was not properly cleaned, we found fake eyelashes in the bathroom. The refrigerator had old drinks and food left. Hair was found on the counter and in thr drawers. "

"Slow room service, average cleanliness, corridors have a specific not so pleasant odour, not unbearable but does not feel pleasant. Overall it was a fine experience. "
