"Walking distance to Kyoto Station. Great value. Small room with sink only. WC on same level as room and shower with onsen at level 1. There is coffee beans and nice assortment of tea provided. Highly recommend this hotel if you don’t mind a small room which is not ensuite. "

"My stay at the Double Tree was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very close to the train station (and a Shinkansen no less!) and a 7/11, which is great for getting cash on the go. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The hotel lobby smelled amazing and had a relaxing atmosphere. The clerks were helpful in both English and Japanese, and they even went the extra mile to show us their recommendations for things to do around Kyoto.
