Wonderful hotel with a rooftop pool and bar. Room was big and well decorated. Food was quite ok. The staff was helpful but sometimes I felt that they were unexperienced and on the pool area they push me too much to buy drinks.
Overall a very good experience.
It's difficult to describe just how exquisite this hotel is in a few lines. I cannot fault The Legian in any way. The hotel is beautiful without doubt and in a great location for sure. But it's the service, the attention to detail, the care and the desire to make your stay as perfect as possible that you don't see in the pictures. We felt like one of the family and we look forward to going 'home' again soon. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making this the most stunning trip we have ever had.
Ps. We salute you for the beautiful, lush, impeccably manicured lawns.
I had a single room on the 5th floor and it was adequate for the $20 some dollars I paid for. The bathroom kind of had a public bathroom feel because everything was tiled and the soap was in dispensers attached to the wall. No ammenities except for hand soap. The room had AC, wifi (good connection), and a TV. I needed some toothpaste and had to buy a toothbrush/toothpaste set for 5,000Rupiah from the front desk.
