"I just love staying here! It’s the second time I’ve stayed at the Thistle Suites / Royal Garden Apartments and I have to say: staff at the front desk is just amazing. They’re friendly, welcoming and so helpful every time. The location is very convenient and you get everything you need in a few minutes walk. Plus, you can totally tell they’ve remodeled it AND coffee in the lobby was outstanding! This is totally worth the price. Book it. Thanks for a great stay, ladies, see you soon!"

"Honestly struggle to provide a positive rating due to the safety concern next to a shelter. Openly want to be sensitive but there was trash and people sleeping in the foyer every night or in tents out front. The place was ok inside as well. On the positive it is close to rail station and city centre."

"Rooftop view was quite good. Location was convenient from train station. Price was decent. Carpet in unit needed replacement, but unit was otherwise good. Property exits onto princes street right into a set of bus stands, so be ready to navigate lines of people. Room photos were for higher floors, which likely do have a view, but part of property is below the ground level behind it. Maps may try to take you down Leith walk - don’t follow. "The room was huge. We had a king bed and it still seemed small in that room. Had a functional bathroom and kitchen."
