"I paid for full ocean view king room and when I checked in I was disappointed because it looked like partial ocean view not full, and the staff mentioned since it was booked via Expedia they weren’t able to select a specific room. All of the full ocean view rooms were booked.the staff was friendly and professional, They showed me other alternatives but was satisfactory. This room was expensive and had I not booked via Expedia maybe they could’ve accommodated better. Is there anything Expedia can do to make it up? Should I not have booked via Expedia."

"Front desk was not hospitable . She seemed to be trying to be nice. When I arrived she said my room wasn’t ready but she could give me another. I asked what the difference in rooms was and she said no difference. So I asked, what would my room that is “not ready” have different from the one that’s ready. She laughed and said nothing. So, then why say my room is not ready??? As I agreed on getting the room that was ready she then handed me keys. I stood there for like 3 min waiting for her to say something like, welcome or here is a bit of helpful information about our hotel. She said nothing… I stood there and then after 3 minutes she looked at me and said, do you need something? I said, am I done? She laughed and said ya! Very passive-aggressive. When I checked out. I waited in the lobby for 3-4 min for someone to come help. One of the cleaning ladies ended up opening a door in which someone was just chilling in and she said to him, you have people outside waiting for you. By this time there were 3 of us in line. Overall I feel front desk needs training on hospitality."

"I was not aware while booking that this was owned by a neighboring property, so the lobby area for check in and breakfast was in a separate building we had to walk to. Also the room was much smaller and a tight squeeze compared to what is perceived from the pictures. Shower could have used an update. Lastly, the lighting in the main room was very dim. Other than that, on the positive side we really enjoyed the free wine tasting nightly and the distance to the beach and other in-town attractions were an amazing feature. The staff was polite. I would stay here again but not with the entire family due to size."

"The room Was VERY outdated for a 400$+/night room. Grout In The bathroom was brown and gross and the tub covering was peeling. The bike rentals were a nice touch but could use some maintenance. Squeaky brakes and the kids bike could raise or lower because it was so rusted. The pool was a nice area. We had to check out at noon and played by the pool and used the pool Bathroom that had a shower in it but the hotel doesn’t offer travel sized shampoo / conditioner bottles only the stuff in the room. It was located across the street from the beach, but a good mile walk towards the end of State Street. Parking was also another 42$ night which is ridiculous."
