"Very very nice and small hotel. The service is excellent. So so kind people always welcoming you. As the hotel is small, the breakfast is served in your room, and it was the best brekfast we have had in a 3 weeks travel. Location is perfect, we would highly recommend this hotel. "

"It was our family’s first time staying at a machiya. It was an easy place to find upon arrival in Kyoto. The house was lovely. The tea ceremony at check-in along with the Japanese sweets were much appreciated. They were able to help us arrange for delivery of our luggage onwards to our next city. "We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). "For a hotel chain apart of the Marriott bonvey family this is a real nice hotel. Modern, clean looking, the service and the staff were amazing including delivering my hotel luggage to the next hotel i was staying at and the station nearby was great only a 5 minute walk and the free hotel umbrellas provided were incredible because we came in during the rainy season "

"This hotel provided our family of four with a a great stay. The family apartment was reasonably priced and very large. The hotel is a 2minute walk from the main train station. There are buses that will take you to all the main sights leaving regularly from the station. There is a large shopping centre at the station and everything you need within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend this property for families. "
