"It’s a great town house to stay in when visiting Kyoto! It has an outdoor bath outside of the first floor bedroom, which makes for a unique experience. "Fairly new hotel with spacious rooms in a very quiet residential area yet close to Nijo Castle. Bus stops and a metro station were within easy walking distance. There are also a grocery store, a 7/11 and a bakery nearby so we bought everything for breakfast there. There is a small fridge in the room which is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Simply the hotel was superb - the rooms are larger than you would generally get in Japan and the quality of the fittings and cleanliness was top rate. We enjoyed the 'rain' shower - probably the best that we experienced in any hotel. The rooms were cleaned and tidied everyday - if I had a small complaint, there wasnt any closet space only a rail with a few coat hangers. The bed was very comfortable and the room had blackout curtains - and well the toilet is to die for - I need one of these at...
