When we arrived at the hotel, we were shown our room by a security guard. There was no staff at the front desk or inside the whole hotel. We were not notified of the Wi-Fi code. The hotel was under construction with the hallways, boarded up. There were no amenities present such as access to the garden, pool and no spa services available. There was breakfast served the next day. We found out we were the only customers to the whole hotel. Staff left at the end of the day and we were alone in the hotel during the night. There was a security guard sitting outside the hotel. We also heard we were the last customers and the hotel was closing after we were leaving. We found it quite disturbing that we were not notified by Expedia that this hotel was under construction and was closing. We paid for full service with amenities, which were not presence during our visit. We would appreciate a refund, certainly for a part of our stay. This was a disappointing experience. We hope Expedia will offer better services next time. We have been using Expedia for many years and are a regular customer. We do expect good service. Thank you, Lydia.
