"The Congress was my number #1 place for 30 years. It's an older hotel and shows. Doors in my suite don't close or lock correctly. The room wasn't cleaned when requested so my travel mate could make bets if the room was serviced or not by the time we returned. Not even when I called House keeping. We did appreciate the lake view we paid for, but at its high price, I would recommend a newer hotel in the city."

"The room that we got was very rundown for a premium suite. When we asked the front desk about the condition of the room, we were told that it was normal and all of the rooms were like that. On the second evening, we were locked out of room and security came to let us in saying that it was a glitch with the door. "Everything was great. Rooms are extremely small for the price though. Feels like being in an interior size cruise bedroom, not much space for your belongings. Other than that everything was very nice."

"Quiet room. Great view. Great roof top happy hour. Super breakfast. Just didn’t like we were charged some extra fee when we arrived - like $56 for some extra tax or service facility charge. Also, you can’t take your coffee to go at breakfast, so being the paper cup from your room."
