"Excellent location for both bus and train journeys. Both run regularly from Temple Meads railway station which is just across the road. There is also a ferry service which runs from behind the station. Unfortunately there are too many steep steps down to the wharf for anyone with mobility issues."

"I stayed one night and selected the hotel based on its proximity to the train station. It was an excellent choice for that, although there is some road construction going on directly around it which made rolling one’s bag a little more difficult than it would normally be. "We stayed one night and the experience was outstanding. The rooms were very quiet and the shower was amazing. I could hardly fault anything. Maybe a bit of air conditioning in the rooms would be good during the hot days but they supplied fans to help.
I would definitely use this hotel again as they are amazing and provide a great service in all respects."

"Lovely location with Wooky Holes on the doorstep of the Hotel.
Room was basic but clean and had everything you'd want fir an overnight stay.
Lovely grounds for a walk.
Only negative was bath taps had hot water, but the shower had only had cold water. The mixer thermostat was obviously faulty. Talking to other guests, this seemed to be a common fault as others said their shower only had cold water too."
