"The staff were pleasant and helpful. My room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. However the walls in the room were only partially decorated and appeared to be unpainted or papered. Reception said this was a style but its not one I like or have encountered before. My children were in the same type of room as me but their room was properly decorated. I also noticed some landings on the stairs were uncarpeted a work in progress perhaps?"

"All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience."

"Incredible!! Loved everything about our stay in this historic hotel. The reception staff was unparalleled- so warm and friendly and helpful with local tips (thank you Andrea & Tim!!). The rooms were comfortable and clean and well stocked with what we needed for our overnight stay. Only regret is that we weren’t there longer!! The staff were friendly and helpful in answering our questions, and they stored our luggage while we waited for the check in time (our flight arrived early in the morning) allowing us to walk around without our bags in the morning.
