"Cute place but the rooms could use some upgrades. Didn't use the pool. There should be a key reader for those that park in the back of the building to be able to walk through the pool to get inside the hotel. "

"We love this place for its rustic charm and location. Nothing fancy about it but it’s comfortable with extra touches such as fireplaces and beautiful grounds. Rooms a bit dated and could use a bit of an overhaul…but it works for us. Stayed here several times and the staff are great!! "

"That was a beautiful property and very good room. Very quiet for a romantic gateway. Great view Restaurant on property was ok we only had breakfast and it was just ok. Coffee wasn’t good theses are the only cons- actually no wifi!!! I didn’t mind it because I used my data but I heard sometimes data is not working either so be prepared!!"

"Place is very nice. The room was clean and very large. Two features really important to us — walk-in shower and hypo-allergenic bedding. It’s a little dated, but I’ll take that over some of the marginal places we have stayed on Moonstone Beach."

"Stayed the night of July 23 before we drove up to San Francisco. Excellent property and would very highly recommend. Great pool, hot tub and outdoor fire pit.
