"We had a great stay here! The rooms were spacious with a charming, old-school feel. The location is about an hour’s drive from Yosemite Valley in Mariposa, set in a truly gorgeous area. The restaurant served amazing food at very good value for money, especially the trail lunch pack, which was both affordable and incredibly well prepared. "The room had a weird smell, and the phone was dirty and sticky. Main water was shut off and when it came back, we run it for a while but it still came out dirty—for showers, the cold water stopped working completely. It was due to water main repair. Breakfast had a very poor selection: coffee from the dispenser tasted stale. The driveway to the hotel not paved and made it difficult to drive on. Wasn’t the best stay overall."

"Overall it was good, but there were a few things that prevented this renovated property from getting five stars. One, the toilet area of bathroom smelled of mold and mildew. Not sure how it could be missed but perhaps it only recently got worse. The second was the bed. The springs in the base were so squeaky and noisy, that one couldn’t move without making a pretty awful noise. When told about it at the front desk, they said they would let someone know. The room was very clean tho....

"Shared bathroom was not great. Room was cute but musty. Common areas are very well decorated."

"The price could not be beat, but its a very bare bones room. No coffee machine in room, no fridg. An employee was walking with a cart on wheels around midnight(maybe pick up trash) but it was loud and woke me up since i was ground level."
