"This apartment was a beautiful place to stay. I love the private patio area and that it was ocean view. I didn’t like that the water pressure to the shower was very low, it was barely dripping so that was really frustrating having to use the shower in the unit. I would also recommend that since there were no room cleaning they should at least have access to a washer and dryer so you can have clean sheets and towels throughout your stay. "

"Es un hotel moderno, habitaciones amplias. El staff muy amable. No me gustó que hubo mucha insistencia en que se desayunara con ellos y recibiéramos en una hora y media una plática, que definitivamente era para vender tiempo compartido. La comida buena y la variedad de bebidas excelentes. No hubo puntualidad en los horarios de los shows nocturnos."

"Food was amazing. Drinks are great, real brands. Beach is 1/5. AC in room is (quite) powerful. Gym is well equipped. Animation at pool is fun. Water is warm. Restrooms nearby are handy. Night time shows are ok/good, some nights look more like a fashion show. Music was good for dancing most nights. Fun to dress up and see people dressed up for theme nights. Look up the themes and come ready, it’s worth it. Great vibes in the resort all around. No vendors. We had mosquitos only one evening, otherwise none. Made-to-order sushi by the pool in daytime, as well as the outdoor grill and little buffet at night were a nice touch. Evening party with loud music every night from 10 pm to 2 am. They provide earplugs in room, lol. Staff is helpful and smiling and engaging. We did tip at meals, for drinks and for room cleaning, in pesos. USD is also ok. Resort boutique is beyond expensive. We bought our souvenirs at the Mexican store across the street. Good selection but still pricey. Quiet pool section had nice grounds and soothing music, but we didn’t spend time there. You don’t go there for the beach or any aquatic sports or lush grounds and wildlife. We would recommend the place and we would come back."

"Room was comfortable. A/C is locked in on specific temp while isn’t cool enough for even the coldest people. The TV connection is shawty at best, also received a strained phone call from the customer service desk in regards to if we had any issues subsequently as our TV was not connecting to our apps, as if the room were bugged, and they were listening in, although that may seem crazy I would not put it past them. The overall atmosphere is very mixed with a very diverse crowd. The food was so par at best the best thing was in the elite club restaurant, the Seabass. The morning breakfast buffet was also very tasty, but also became very boring overall probably would not stay in the same place if I went back to Cancun."

"I had a great time on this trip. I was traveling with friends and family and everyone had a great time. The hotel was shutting down for a remodel 2 days after we left, but they were operating at peak efficiency. There was no degradation in service or amenities. I have stayed at several Riu properties and the brand has consistently met or exceeded my expectations"
