"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"Seems to attract a certain crowd as when I walked in, music was VERY LOUDLY being played and it was already 9pm. Did not make me feel safe at all. Rooms were quite messy and just so badly designed. Staff doesn't explain much and doesn't tell you theyre charging you a deposit before doing so. With the amount you are paying, there are so many more convenient and better hostels."

"Things got stolen on two occasions. I asked the staff to check the cctv and they seemed very reluctant and then agreed to. They said where I was located was the one area they don’t have cctv. Overall I felt quite unsafe when staying there and the staff didn’t take my concerns very seriously at all, I think because they’re all travelling themselves and staying at the hostel. It doesn’t seem like there is any authority or professionalism. Other things. No towels to rent, but then saw others...

"We checked in late due to our flight was delayed nobody in check in counter. Receptionist came after 30 minutes and we are able to get in. It was sunday evening, it was a happy hour with a small space to walk due to guest are in the walkway drinking, singing and smoking weed. "I dont know where the other reviewers stayed, but it couldn't have been the Azzurro. The building was very run down, and everywere was dirty. The bathrooms weren't clean and although there were signs everywhere saying there was cleaning stuff under the sinks there wasn't any and I looked in 4 bathrooms! "My 3 nights stay was 1 bedroom suite with bathroom. Because of the noise from the bar, I could sleep after 2am. The next day morning, I requested room change. FD offered me a room after 3pm. I found out water was leakng from AC. Since hotel was full house, I told FD that I would try to stay. Due to the smell from the carpet, I requested a new room at 5PM.
